Marcos and I decided to grab some dinner last night at Pastel D'Amelia to eat some delicious Pastel's. We typically get a few pastels to share when we go to this place to eat. Last night we got a pizza pastel, a palmito pastel, a meat pastel, and a sweet pastel that was filled with my favorite chocolate that they make here in Brazil.

After about 11 years of customers asking for a sweet juice, like sugarcane juice, that was clean, freshly made, and consisted of great quality to accompany the delicious crunchy pastels, in 1997 she was able to initiatethe delicious pastries of Amelia in a trailer next to the sugarcane juice estate in the city of São Carlos.
Amelia's sales skyrocketed with the help of making high quality sugarcane juice with the fresh and crunchy pastels and it made her business a huge success. Pastel D'Amelia inaugurated her first restaurant in 2009 with the brand name Pastel D'Amelia.
