The day Marcos proposed was so magical!
Although I will say, I made it very challenging.
First of all, I had just found out the day before he proposed, that I had to return back to America, because in order for me to be officially accepted into grad school I had to send the admissions office the stamp from my passport that showed I had returned back to America. Therefore, I immediately began packing and rescheduled my return flight ticket to a few days from then. Poor Marcos came home to suitcases all over the place and I then filled him in on what was going on.
Later that day, he told me that he had bought these tickets to go see this castle. Everything in me wanted to be like, "Honey I don't have time to go see a castle. I have to pack." But seeing how he had already purchased the tickets, I figured I would just try to get as much packing done as I could and go to see this castle with him.
The next day we hopped into our nice blue BMW convertible and took a ride to the Warwick Castle. Once we got there, we went to go watch the bird show. When we got to the bird show area we saw that it was going to be another 40 minutes before it started and Marcos tried to talk me into walking around to go see the Peacocks, but I didn't want to leave because we had such a good seats to watch the bird show. So I convinced Marcos to stay and wait for the bird show to start. (which I'm sure Marcos was trying to take me over to the castle to propose, but again I was making things difficult for him.)
After waiting for the bird show to start and watching the bird show, which added another hour of putting off Marcos proposing, we began walking around again and eventually ran into this beautiful area just across from the castle. However, this employee tried to kick us out of the area, because they were about to shut it down. But I begged the lady to let us stay for a few minutes to take a few pictures, which she did end up letting us stay.

Marcos and I then proceeded to take pictures and record videos. Marcos got out his GoPro and started recording us, asking me questions and such. I honestly didn't suspect anything when he did that, because we normally do stuff like that when we are out on our adventures. But then, that's when Marcos popped the big question! As you'll see in the video below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 I still gave him a hard time.
As you saw in the video, I was in shock! I had no idea Marcos was going to propose, but I was beyond ecstatic that he did! 😍💍😍
I had been waiting for this magical moment my whole life and Marcos made it truly special. I love the fact that he proposed in front of a castle, because he knows how obsessed I am about Disney Princesses. He really is my Prince Charming! 🤴🏻
I love this man more than anything and I couldn't have asked God to have given such an amazing guy that I get to spend the rest of my life with.

This past year has been especially hard on me with having four brain surgeries in one year, but Marcos has stood by my side through it all and now he wants to spend the rest of our lives together! I am so excited about our future together and I know there are only good things to come! Sure hard days are inevitable, but I know this man will always stand by my side.
We are stronger together! We are meant to be!
