As I said in my last post it was not only Arthur's Kindergarten Graduation, but it was also his sister Luana's Birthday this past weekend as well. She turned two years old. Luana is a shy little girl, but she'll still play pick-a-boo with her Auntie Jess, since I am still in the process of learning Portuguese I have a hard time communicating with her. On the bright side though, I can get her attention and get her to bond with me by playing pick-a-boo and she gets the biggest grin on her face and giggles. She really is just the cutest little thing. Luana absolutely loved her birthday party, especially her Minnie Mouse Birthday Theme! She loves her Minnie Mouse, so of course her mom decorated her birthday bash party all in Minnie Mouse: Minnie Mouse cookies, Minnie Mouse cupcakes, Minnie Mouse chocolates, and last but not least a Minnie Mouse cake. |
Play Time with Luana!
Luana loves driving her cute pink convertible and her Uncle Marcos did a great job at helping her not run into anything. Funny story though, we found out later on that there was actually a remote control to control the car so we didn't necessarily need to keep maneuvering the car around to ensure she didn't hit any other cars or anything else. She sure did give her Uncle Marcos a good workout that's for sure.
But she also gave her Auntie Jess a workout as well, because she was chasing me around with her little pink mini convertible at one point. It was so much fun watching her giggle and laugh as she tried to run me over with her little mini pink convertible. I love finding new ways to bond with my little Brazilian niece. I can't get enough of that cute little munchkin or her brother the goofball.
I miss them already, but until next time...
